The day was October 9th, 2013. We’re up to wish a close friend of ours on her birthday. As we waited for 12 am; we stumbled upon an idea.
The BIGGEST challenge at a birthday party is getting a perfect shot of the birthday baby cutting the cake. Our phone cameras always failed to capture the precise moment. What if we could create an app that did just that; Take a photograph INSTANTLY.
Once the Birthday songs were sung; we decided to get into some overnight coding. Though we wanted to make the app for ourselves, we also wanted to know if people across the world wanted something like this as well. We turned on RIA and put her into analysis mode.
20 mins later, we were surprised by the number of people who shared similar sentiments as us. It was not just about birthday cakes; from birds flying by to cute baby faces, people wanted to capture all those subtle yet precious moments.
